  • Wow...been a while.

Sorry for not being around, but the hard drive died in my computer, my smart phone sucks to do anything on... so while I lurk, I haven't posted in a while.

I will try to hang out but the job works many hours, and family stuff has kept me busy.

There is a project car in the future...78-81 Malibu, w/ a 6.0/6.2, LS3 heads, carb, etc, but I haven't decided manual or auto yet.

Still need to find a cheap, yet solid roller.

That sounds like an excellent project. Those cars are a fine basis for awesome steet machines or race cars. For some reason, I thought you were a Ford guy.

I am...but I can be flexible in the decision on what to build. I've built many stroked windsors, 460's, but the LS seems awful easy to build, and make a shit-ton of power...relatively cheaply, too. I don't plan on street racing...more like smoke filled cruises, and grudge races with my friends, along with some weekend fun at Mid Michigan Motorplex.

That sounds like an excellent build idea. Keep us updated as this machine comes together.

Glad to have you back Min.I was thinkin..since you where a Ford guy, that you had to wrench all the time,so you couldnt stay aboard.

I like your plan with a G body, but beware that everything is Toyota Corolla sized under the body..weak rear axle, and brakes all around...

Good to hear from you, Bill. Hope all are well and happy.

If you want to check Wilmington and Raleigh CL and/or Ebay I'll bet we could find a rust free 'Bu. I can bring it up on one of our Michigan trips. I HATE rust!
