  • Does this look OK to you?

We pulled the Motor out of the Hot Rod today and took it apart and here's what we found. The car apparently ate the piston on the 8.81 run in the picture below, I wanted to go to the March Meet real bad just to say I'd been there and done that! With all the other stuff on the hit list I may run out of time, maybe money too!

Get the body hammer out and pound it back into shape!
    Escaped on a technicality.

You guys oughta know by now, I don't know shit about nuts and bolts. But that question as phrased does remind me of the worst pickup line ever. That being, "Hey, does this look infected to you?"

The bottle is supposed to have N-I-T-R-O-U-S in it... Not N-I-T-R-O.
Yes, I'm a CarJunkie... How many times would YOU rebuild the same engine before getting a crate motor?

Looks like you need a colder plug. Give the piston a once over with the bead blaster and a little wire brushing and your good to go.

That's a hot mess. Dont imagine the head and cylinder are too happy either. You still own both cars yet?

The head is actually fine and the sleeve will be also as soon as we clean the Aluminum off of it. Yes, for lack of better sense I still own both Hot Rods!
