    NASCAR and the "Call"......

Outsider posted a thread a few weeks ago about Danica getting the "Call".... There was also a link provided that mentioned a few drivers getting that same "Call" at some point in their career. If you read the conspiracy theorist, it was all revolved around Chevrolet and GM Drivers.

Now, I have to ponder, did Carl Edwards get the "Call" today?! Let's recap, the race was called the "Subway Fit 500". He tied his longest winless streak today. And, this was the same exact place he broke that winless streak.

So, one can only ponder..... Did NASCAR give Ford, especially Edwards a little something extra..... Bahahahaha!!!!

For the sake of arguments, I don't believe none of that crap. I just have to laugh at all those individuals. Like Jr's domination at Daytona. Gordon getting his win when Pepsi sponsored the race. Or Petty's 200th win.

While orchestrating a race outcome is probably not possible, giving certain teamS or drivers strategic advantages certainly is.

Would not surprise me at all.

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, psst, crank up your compression, tech'll look away...

Ok Danica..lap XYZ, you hit the wall and walk to the ambulance, go on teevee and bat your pretty eyes...

This was an ok race.. Was on in the background, while I did other stuff... Waaaay better than Daytona was.

Do you think any of the drivers would want to win a race they didn't deserve, whether or not the race sponsor was on the side of their car?

In Derby, you are timed out if you are pinned... It isn't cool to win by pinning.. Some guys knock em loose and keep going.. Others, like me, leave them hung up and beat them dead.. Crowds do not like cars that corner someone and shut off..
