Met Wayne Carini Last Night

Was in the motel lobby last night in Indy and ran into Wayne Carini.
Chasing Cars is one of my favorite automotive shows.
Went over to talk with him........super nice guy who was ready to talk cars.
I was really impressed........he's in town for the Mecum Auction.
Hope to run into him later to see what kind of deal he's done.
Last year I was on the elevator with Mario Andretti.

I like his show. No stupid characters on it. No made up drama. Just some interesting cars.

Glad that Wayne is a pleasant fella. I like the show even though he revolves in a different atmosphere that I do.

I once shared an elevator with Max Rumbaugh, Jr. I know - BFD. He was the executive Director (I think was his title) of the SAE. Friendly enough but he wouldn't up my membership status (I was an "Affiliate" at that time). Since I retired I'm a "Member" - don't know what magic happened there.

Yeah I approached him just to shake hand but we started talking about certain episodes
and he was very willing to chat.
Just a real good guy.
