Over heard something about he was buying cars for a hard of hearing guy up in the north west woods that is stacking these old cars up like cord wood while there is still a supply. Mentioned something about county fairs and demo- derbies.Previously HoosierL98GTAComment

DBT, there were at least 2 people bought their old cars back after decades. They probably will wish they hadn't. Most of those cars that were stored outside, had become multi-generational condos for rats and mice. I personally saw a rat run from one "resort " to the next. A 65 Coupe de Ville I derbied was loaded up to the seats with empty whiskey bottles... And a BOOT... Story of he boot was this old farmer would drink and drive while chewing tobacky, didn't like the spit stains on the sides so he would spit in a boot, every time somebody got in, they would spill the nearly full boot, Every time the car got hot in a derby, the smell of spit and tobacco would make me feel like upchucking! No matter how many times I washed that floor!
