    priceless photos.

I had just watched this and checked in here to find your thread.

deafbob, this is a silent film

my grandpa lived in western mass, mechanical by trade, last I knew he was welding military boats (he was a very large man).

I am not sure why fenton rings a bell. My grandma passed on in 2005.

That video is amazing man, thanks for sharing.

My Grandfather still operates a used car lot in town to this day... Fenton Leasing a little further down Main St...maybe thats the bell?

Also, my grandfather served in the Navy (assuming that's the division of military or even same time frame your grandfather served).

        THANKS, BARRY!
That was awesome... I can't get over the lack of lane lines in the majority of it!
My road rage would burn very bright indeed!

Between your username and knowledge of services for the hearing impaired, I assume you are deaf?
My brother and I are 16 months apart, and he was born deaf. He attended ASD in Hartford.
Yes I am deaf.. Since 4 years old.. Wonderful drug called STREPTOMYCYN.. I'm HAPPY I'm deaf as my other 2 side effects are retardation and blindness.. Jury's still out on me being retarded.. ..
ASD is a good school.. Lots of groundbreaking was done there (guenia pigs..)

ASD was an extremely good school, and much better then Willie Ross (spelling?) in my opinion. My ASL is a little rusty, however I communicate just fine with my brother (our own version I suppose you could call it?) I have always found the community extremely fascinating.

            Anyways...sorry to steer off-topic!

Heck...I still have one of the movies unopened from 1956!! Literally the packaging it was shipped in has yet to be touched LOL

Check out the return address label - 2 digit zip code, Detroit 11, Michigan.
