69 rs/ss 396? convertible.....?...hmmmmmm......i'd say thats one of the top ten desirable cars of that era. yeah 24g's is a lotta cash, but, thats gotta be a 60g car restored.
.........
Cost $80-100k to restore it well enough to get that $60k. Might get more if it was an L-78, but with AC, I doubt it.
It is a very desirable model of Camaro. RS/SS 396 cars are hard to come by, especially drop tops.

Hmmn, replace the frame with an Art Morrison, replace the body with dynacorn, fenders and bits from Year One or others....keep the VIN plate though ...

Nitrous is like that hot chick with crabs. you want to hit it, you're just afraid of the consequences
speedway 95. Not many document it. The articles I find forget to mention cars, time, day, power.. or anything a heterosexual man would be interested in.

I prolly have this wrong but at the Mecum auction in Indy this past weekend there was a maroon rs/ss 396 vert being auctioned off, it was said that particular one there only 5 known to exist and two were documented

That's the Mopar Effect. Rattling off production numbers in a vane attempt to make it sound more special. It probably has some ugly color no one wanted new and a couple weird, useless options to make it rare.
