Your old Buick is nearly identical to my old buick! The main difference ias that my car was a post car (Buick Special), not a hard top (Skylark). It had rubber floor mats rather than carpet too.
I put a grump lump and skinny slots on it back in the early 90's, also pulled out the V6 and threw in a 350 from a 72 GS. It was a fun car.
