That thing looks late 50's or early 60s to me. So many cool novelty vehicles from that period. Too bad I was too young and oblivious of automobilia at the time to enjoy them although I WAS alive. Hopefully the fresh tarp and taped up window means someone still loves it and is considering restoring it. Christmas in that period was so fun. I remember stores converting over half of their floorspace to just toys. Another case of grownups stealing the holiday from the youngsters, just like Halloween. My hobby is needing a hobby.Comment

Another car related Christmas thought. Car trunks were so huge and not that often used back then my parents would just leave the presents stashed there. Often they would stock up on clothes for us in the fall back to school sales and save a lot of them to make Christmas even bigger. Quaint memory, but it always made me wonder when the stuff from Santa smelled like spare tire and gasoline. My hobby is needing a hobby.Comment

Now they just hide the bodies in there...

Doesn't work in a hatchback and even if not most new stuff would only hold a child, a dog or a dwarf. Kill one of those and you are sick, but covered. My hobby is needing a hobby.Comment
