i havent built one in many years. i used to enjoy them now and then. my wife bought me one last year for x-mas,......it's still sitting in the box.
nice work!
i always had a problem keeping dust off them. maybe the paint or plastic attracts dust? IDK? -

I used to build them and I still have bunches of them and then I got this bright ass Idea to go from 1/24th scale to 1/1 scale, more fun but a really, really a bad idea!sigpic

yes but it's been a while since I completed one....my son is getting to the age to enjoy them so maybe more are in the immediate future

As an early teen I built a ton of them but have gotten away from it. Folks have bought me a few kits which sit on a shelf in my office, unopened. Someday they'll be on the Antiques Road Show and will be worth $100,000 'cause they're still in the box. My Great Grands may cash in.........

Just found an old model of my Dads, a 57 Chevy and the kit is as old as I am!
Found a couple of my kits when I dug through the storage unit last week, but none of the paints, glue, bondo, etc... Probably have to get new ones anyway, been awhile since I used them and they're probably all separated out. The El Camino I got specifically for the wheels to try them on the 68 Charger model I've been working on. The Lamborghini I got because, well, it's a friggin Countach!
Maybe I'll find the Charger and the other models next time I get out there. At least I have these to play with now.

I have a 59 Chevy I picked up a few years back. A bud of mine has 59s like I have Pontiacs, lots of em. Just grabbed 41 Willys model to do some kit bashing and make a pro street 59 the color he wants his main one. That means I'll build some small cars in addition to the big ones.Comment
