Apparently Jim has lost his mind and been convinced that the perfectly acceptable paint job on his killer '55 needed a redeux....
The burning question all inquiring minds want to know.....
Same colors? Same two tone?
hmmmmm
(Jim - please tell me at some point before starting the car after the paint job - you're going to replace those exposed air filters that will be completely filled with dust...)
The whole car is already jambed out, I cant see the pics here at work but if he isnt laying down new primer I would guess it's gonna be original colors....
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
as sinister and cool as the primer is your car deserves a nice paint job...The original colors are very nice and will look freakin great.....I can not wait to see it done....

Four days sanding, I lost a couple pounds, but I think the car did too! Almost done with the bodywork phase, just an hour or two left (front of the right front fender) then I can lay on some more primer, give it a light sanding all over, and take it over to the painter.
