I am a bit confused to what engine you now have and in what car. Seems you have both an S10 with aluminum heads and the 91 Firebird.which coukd hqve either.

      • Sorry for the confusion. The s10 is what the firebirds new motor came out of. It does have aluminum heads so it needs gasket style plugs instead of tapered ones. They are also 14mm with a .750 reach

            - low end is good but lots of spark knock at higher RPM's
            - bought a cord to plug it into a computer and record engine vitals while the car is running to send with chip back to tuner
            - new coil and MSD box also purchased to help boost spark
            - stay tuned for tuning updates

                  • Was greeted this spring with a power steering leak. Replaced pump and lines. No more drips/pour of power steering fluid.

                    • Somewhere along the way the new torque arm, transmission mount and driveshaft loop got left out. Here is a pick from UMI, on car pick will come next time I have it on the lift.

                      • I always wondered if you could feel a real difference in a tubular one or is it all just more for the adjustability of pinion angle ?

                        • I don't know how much I can "feel" it but I was able to eliminate a vibration I had before it.

                          • I chased those too. I bought a tubular panard bar . It felt better but my virbration was from flat spoted tires fromvthe front brakes not working right . They look pretty .

                              • Hard to say as the torque arm went in at the same time the new motor did.
