Tis the season. My Skylark's coil up and quit on me last month, right in the middle of a long drive on an empty road. I'm in the process of replacing one of them with EIGHT, that ought to spread the odds some, lol. I'm leaving the HEI cap/coil in place and the MSD box is just a few connectors away from being re-installed if trouble pops up.Escaped on a technicality.

glad it was an easy fix! looking forward to seeing that gto in person. I was starting to think I had a bad 6al plus until Friday. turns out I hooked my control power to an ignition power that cancelled during cranking.... cheap fixes are my favorite ones!1980 Turbo T/A - Turbocharged 408ci Pontiac. survived DW 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
