if the route is anywhere near mid america motorworks im sure it will be a lunch stop. they know how to put on a dinner!!. they have hosted dinner several years in the past and put on a very large corvette show every year. wouldn't suprise me a bit if this is a noon stop.

Back in 2011 we spent several days in St. Louis on our honeymoon. Tried to take in as many cool local things as we could. While most everything is west of the Mississippi River, I guess it all depends on how the route goes as to what is in play.

The Budwiser plant is super cool! Especially for beer drinkers! Coldest, freshest beer I've ever tasted!

Tons of cool route 66 stuff to do, these are probably the two coolest stops in the area.

Doughnut Drive In, still in business and still awesome!

We were out and about early in the am, so this place was closed.

We went to the Route 66 roadside museum, it was cool because it was about the only place to get merchandise, there was some cool old signs, but unless you just want a sticker, it's not hardly worth the stop!

Some other cool places, Fat's Domino's Blueberry Hill resturant for those old rock fans, its in a cool part of town called the delmar loop, several other cool old places to go there.

Also, you gotta see the arch, at least for the photo chance.

To be honest the pickers stop in st Claire is not really worth the stop. I work in that area often and have stopped 3 times. Stores are just full of shirts, stickers magnets and other goodies. They do have some stuff from the show they bought on the road. The workers have stated they have not met either Mike or Frank. So chances are you will not either.

There is a distillery, a wine tasting room, and IIRC a craft brewery in Leclaire that all have sample tastings of their wares!😇

You should email or call them and mention that lots of cool cars will be in the area. Maybe they would set up a photo op or something like special pricing for the day.

If I am not mistaken, someone did what you suggested the last time we were there. AND, they were closed that day.

I have heard the same about Pawn Stars. Supposedly they don't even film in the pawn shop.
