hotels you mentioned are kind of pricy for me at over $105.00 standard price. i show a Quality Inn off exit 36 with 4 out of 5 stars and priced at $79.00 standard. how is this place? how far from Lowes Track and Charlotte itself is exit 36? i might make two nites reservations.

Bruce, the quality in is ok, stay away from the Super 8. It is about a 1/2 hour to Z Max dragstrip. I do not go into Charlotte, I take back roads to get there. I will post some directions.

The car show is going to take place. I will post the flyer when it comes out.

The North Carolina Racing Museum is across the street from Roush / Yates parts, it is worth the stop also. DC Classics has a showroom at the end of the block, it should be open as well. There is no lack of stuff to do.

Great, there is lots to do in Mooresville. Anyone staying in Mooresville on Friday Night is welcome to come over and hang out and then caravan to Z Max on Saturday Morning.
