    16 axles.

Travel has been slow as workers with J. Supor & Son Trucking & Rigging Co. of Kearny, New Jersey, have had to stop occasionally to place steel supports on the road to help distribute the transformer’s weight as it is driven over culverts and small bridges.
I hope there is a vid..

That's bigger than the monster sized trailer and load I saw while driving by San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant.

that trucking company has a website, found a vid.

don't see big things moving often.

I remember hauling a 60 foot steel beam with my dad, stretch trailer... little 1981 cabover with a 350.. leaf springs for everything.

powerful lesson in steel. Tesla was laughing at us.

I can only imagine the short circuit interrupting rating of the breakers used on that!

I'll raise you 100 tons - 380 ton truck, on a highway (probably the truck Scott saw)

oh yeah, and it's hauling something radioactive....

this turned into a big wang contest.

                    coulda guessed it.

you see trucking is for a living... if it means shaking eyeballs and popping rivets from the cab on 100 feet of steel vibrating to leaf springs resonating earthquakes.

I have been around it my whole life. there is no big man fairy tale.. that is probably why the movies did that to make a stereotype..exactly the other direction.

those days are gone. That company doing the big haul here local has an amazing job. I did not know terrain existed straight enough, let alone hard enough to do what they are doing.

120 to 150k pounds and limited to non-mud season...and that still kills people and knocks houses down taking little children with it if they happen to be in the way.

flat landers can take it to 700 tons for all i care. Even I could town half a million pounds on 3 axles down a runway.

put the big wang away ..anytime..its hideous.

I think I saw the replacement steam generator being delivered. There was an equally large by huge crane waiting to lift it.
