    EMC wish list.

I would like to see an EMC class where the builders have to start with a crate motor from FRPP, GMPP or Mopar. They would be allowed to take them apart and modify what is there, but cannot substitute parts.

Heck, they could even pick a specific crate motor that everybody had to start with. I think that would tell me more about their abilities than all these trick one-off engines.

    What's your wish list?

I know Bob probably wants and Early hemi class. lol

I think those are both good ideas. I can't claim to follow this closely but it seems to me that it's a contest of which engine has the best parts being made for it rather then the skill of the engine builder. I'm NOT saying that the builders don't have skills too but if the builders are closely matched in skill level I'm thinking it comes down to $$ and what's available for your engine - or what you can afford to have made (again, $$).

        1. DOHC multi-valve engines legal in all classes.

        2. "Power adder" class (let's break some dynos!)

        3. Fabricated and/or adapted intakes if there's no suitable aftermarket intake in production.

        4. Let Kaase come back with the same engine when he wins.

IROC for engine builders? let them all start with a 350 and see who wins? or with a 302 (because we need to level the playing field for the minority motors)

                      I like the 302 idea . . . if the Ford team can bring Coyotes . . . .

the coyote is an interesting design, but much ado about nothing.

that is a nice admission, though, Speed, that the 302 can't compete with a 350.

haha I think it's funny you defaulted to the 302 being the 350's equal in the first place. With the 302 being 48 cubic inches smaller and all.
