  • Way to go ... He picked the wrong house

    Updated today at 8:17 AM

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A Medford woman who caught a burglar in her home says he was begging her to call police after the beating she gave him.
Kathlene Brown says she found the man in her bedroom when she returned from work early Sunday.
"I pushed the door open, and I saw some bald guy," Brown said. "I punched him in the face. He didn't have no hair so I was grabbing him by the ears and knocked him in the head with my knee."
The Mail Tribune reports the fight continued into the hall with kicking, choking and biting.
"I bit him so hard my teeth still hurt," she told the newspaper.
When police arrived the subdued intruder was in Brown's living room, bleeding from his nose and mouth.
The 23-year-old man was jailed on burglary and other charges. Police found Brown's TV and stereo equipment outside her bedroom window.

Surely no jury in the land would find her guilty. Here in the Southland we'd say "He needed beatin'!"

He'd have no legal cause of action because the foreseeable result of breaking and entry (getting beat) would be included in "known risk."

That said, here's the funny part to me - he could be (probably will be as it's southern oregon) charged with felony breaking and entering because there was a person in the house; kidnapping; assault (you don't have to win to get an assault charge); assault in the commission of a felony, and for wanton destruction because of the mess he made getting his adz kicked. In short, not only did he get beat by an old lady, but now he's going to prison for at least 20 years because of it. And, I think Oregon does have 3 strikes law, he'll be put away forever..... all because he broke into the house of, and was beat by a little old lady.... wonder whose girlfriend he will be in prison?

Futhermore, the homeowner could assert a complete defense of privilege because she's allowed to use whatever force is needed to repel an uninvited guest.

If I was going to break into a house it wouldn't be in Medford Oregon, I think everyone there owns an assault rifle. He's lucky he's not full of holes.
Just groovin' to my own tune.

it is good to be strong. I can't just jump up and kick ass.

there is this flop house not far from here, something busy 24/7 (cops know about it, they told me due to a theft of belongings in my car a few days ago)

anyway, this one car keeps parking in the tenant only spots, and I did not care..until finding spilled drinks...and the fact he is a 24/7 runner of something. super dark slim shady. no prejudice. it is the blackest black I ever seen meander this far north as part of the pretend gain of success.

today, the car pulls in, he walks to the ghetto house that pays him nickels for gas money... I patiently go outside put a bottle that came from his car gently on the roof..went back in the house, turned on the camera..because gangstas snap, I wanted to record what mr. king shit was going to do with the bottle on his roof. I now know he is not only staring when I go outside like the rest of the heathens craphole.. he snapped the bottle at my car specifically.

on camera, called the cops, zoomed in on his plate number as well.

I am hoping to witness the nailing.

I said in other threads... do not give me a gun. My lifetime in jail will not stop my thousand year narration of their time turned to hopeless.

climb monkey climb.. its like an annoying witch wart on my back.

Same kind of thing happened really close to where I live. Guy caught a couple stealing stuff from his house. He shot the male thief, female got away. Thief called 911 said he was dying. Unfortunately, he didn't - but they did catch him and his accomplice.

I give the lady a lot of credit for what she did.

When you take something or break into someones home or business you deserve whatever you get.

The area that I grew up in people always called the police last after they had taken care of business!!!!!!!!

To me it always seemed simple if you owed someone money and you did not pay it back you got your legs broken!!!

Tuff way of life but it worked. Jimbo
