  • something about this one...

    1991.

most associate that techno/dubstep/drp/drum/bass kick from the internet years.
treating ten years old like it was ancient.

not really a fan, but history, it is always interesting.

this one tune, it is almost hair raising...all that weird stuff 25 years later.
    raves etc.
    calling it all new.

    now this...
this is a song for ten geared subaru.

              • Headed back to the yard at 2 am this morning and they play this on Sirius XM. One of the reasons I wanted to drive a truck in the first place.

Harry Chapin wrote a whole lot of great songs including that one, and also including this one.

                    • This one, such great theatrics involved, a song I came of age with. I had only "heard it," and had never "seen" it done by the folks who did it. Yes, somehow remotely car-related as well.

Meat Loaf and that lady who could sing and belt it out so well, they were.....you couldn't "see" them listening to the song on the vinyl album record player way back then, so you had no idea what that show was like in person. All you got from the album was the music, and it was superb. What a great song.

                            • Or this one that probably know knows where it started

or another that I think the cover was better then the original

and indisputably the best cover - and the elevator music to hell that Simon and Garfunkel are going to hear.... of course, here's another where they were covering for someone else...

                              • I like covers because so often there are better-then-the-original artists ones out there, just as ones that you just have to laugh at who covered it.

                                such as

which became a quite-popular Christian anthem.
