Seriously.
I can't go into too many details but I basically have a week to find a friend a TRADITIONAL hot rod. I have a $10,000 budget max (his money not mine). I have been burning up the phones and CL and have come up pretty dry. Know anyone selling anything cool? Something I missed on your local CL? Something you saw on the side of the road?
Rules:
Must be within a 15 hour (or so) one way drive of Massachusetts
CANNOT BE A STREET ROD
MUST BE 1942 OR OLDER
Must be a traditional style hot rod on along those lines
inliners, nailheads, flatheads, all awesome
sbc or modern engines may be OK if in the right car
does not need to be 100% running and driving but close
need to be able to be registered (meaning that a title is mandatory
The two solid leads I have had on cars both fell through.
What can ya find? Help a bother out!
