Congrats! But I bet if you were a Ford guy they would have let you in on your first go around!

Congratulations! A couple of years ago I finished up my MSME and was accepted into a PhD program, but life got in the way so I could not go. (Moved and changed jobs instead). I am sure you will do well.
Now the theme song for "Spies like us" is stuck in my head. BTW- when either I call my brother or he calls me, we start into the "Doctor... Doctor..." routine. Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?

Seriously though, congratulations on being accepted. That is an awesome achievement and we certainly look forward to the day you come on here and post that you've completed your PhD!Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Most likely I'd be in a headquarters type job working on program management or policy guidance in the areas of nuclear forensics or counter proliferation. I also might be on a staff doing consequence management or stockpile assurance as well. Hard to say till I find out who has effectively "sponsored" my PhD. It's an outside shot that I might even teach at AFIT with it but I didn't volenteer for that so its less likely.
Never read that book. These days I barely have time to keep up on my course work and stay involved with my family it seems, work is running full bore. I'll have to look it up and see if I squeeze it in on the airplane next time I travel.Central TEXAS Sleeper
