This has bitten me in the butt more times than I'd like to admit.

took a bit of finagling but i got the axles issue worked out. went to dwights
shop saturday and pressed in the moroso 3" studs. with that, the main cap
stud kit, girdle cover and superbrute i think this 12 bolt is pretty much as good
as its gonna get, hopefully it handles the 454/4spd. im sure as long as its on
street tires it will be fine....

still stuck in maui (been 2 months while moms jetting around enjoying life and im on cat/rat patrol feeding her 14 cats and 4 dogs...)
hope to start up again when i get home upon parole but who knows when that will be. and im torn between working on the chopper
and working on the 55, the chopper is way closer to finishing and will be cheaper at this point lol...... gotta figure out a direction and
prioritize, thinking leave blazer alone (runs/drives fine as is, can do 454 later) finish chopper then start on 55 again.

hard to get anything done when last year i was on maui for 9.5 months out of 12.........indentured servitude SUCKS, i hate having to
be the responsible son while the younger one just plays around living the pseudo wannabe baller lifestyle, but it is what it is.

well, im officially ph#cked. building sale went thru, we only have till july 6th to move. dont even know where yet.
losing my place, my job, the medical i need for the GB, my cars, most of my stuff (young bros quoted me $16k....

for a 20ft container 1 day load/unload or $600/day extra. 7 miles from docks on oahu and 5 from docks on maui.
plus paz dont want to go maui so after 17 years we may call it quits-- im NOT paying $2k a month rent when we
have a huge house on maui + mom is 76 and im gonna need to take care of her soon either way. so i may lose
the person i love the most too. i am just f#cking hating life. and im on maui NOW as mom had cataract surgery.
i go home may 14th.

as soon as i get back looks like im stripping the 55 and junking it i guess-- getting stupid $500 offers. ill scrap it first.
same with the 48. thinking i may need to send the blazer mainland to sell, "offers" here are $10k-$12k. thats not even
low book. and all the "friends" i helped over the years with free motor builds and swaps, gears, trans o/h, lift, lower, tub,
etc aint NOBODY got room for my cars now even if i pay. one guy said we
cant put cars in his HUGE place even for $100/week because he "dont wanna kill the grass" in his yard...... wow, but
when you needed help i bent over backwards... guess ths time im bending over forwards.

well, you can bet ill remember this. next time any of these guys need help imma bring this up. the sh#t list is permanent,
once youre on it you aint ever getting off again. if i dont check in for awhile its because im scrambling trying to get
it all done by july 6th. good luck with that.......

This just sucks. I'd love to have the '55 a HS friend had one and it has great memories for me) but I'm here and it's there and realistically I'm too old to tackle another project. I know this is pretty weak but, "This too shall pass."

I don't know what you'd get for the Blazer on the Mainland these days. People are just not buying stuff right now, things are in a weird mood. Gas is six-seven bucks a gallon and headed for worse. And it's b.s. that your gal won't follow you to Mom's.

motor and trans are out, 12 bolt and ladders are out. need to pull speedway front,
get whatever sundry parts are inside (bucket seats, etc) as well then its off to the junkyard.

i am just f#cking HATING life right now.
