I was happy that I had extra tubing on hand because like the genius that I am, I bent the end of the harness bar the wrong direction. Haha. I'm stupid.
Next step is to fit a seat. I'd like to do that before putting the door bars in. Just so I don't have to crawl over them.

I dunno about NHRA but in LSR we can bolt our seats in (though they have to be sturdy!) which means we can bolt 'em out when we have work to do inside the car.
Also, I always mount the seat before the shoulder bar which needs to be just lower than your shoulders when in the seat. Too low and you can roll under the belts in a crash and if too high the shoulder belts don't work right. Again, not sure of the NHRA rules but I'd think that would be kind of universal. But I bet you know all that......
I think the harness bar height is good like I have it.
Set the seats in just to see what they look like.
In LSR we'd like to see it about 2" lower if my perspective is right. The goal is just a little below the shoulder belt cutouts. But NHRA - I have zero clue.
