Next up is farting with the factory gauges. I'd really like them to all work.
I think I am just going to use the factory tachometer with a stand-alone shift light. I will use the shift light to verify the accuracy of the stock tach. I'm really not too concerned with it's accuracy, as long as it is consistent.
STILL do not know where I am going to mount the gauges. Thinking maybe an a-pillar pod may be what I have to use even though I really do not want to.
edit....
On second thought, I might just do this since the message center is inop and I can still see this from the driver's seat.
fast and furious ruined the a pillar pod for me.. if you need a information cluster I have a spare that came with my car. My thought is you don't but just thought I would offer.
I'm gonna have everything ready before I light it off. Some guys can cobble stuff together to make things work just so they can bust the motor off, but I can't make myself do that.
The to-do list is getting shorter though!
I might need to get on the ball and try to get it lit off before I have to move, since my new house does not have a shop..... and since I have 'conditioned' my current neighbors into ignoring the occasional open header racket emanating from my shop/property.
