I need to track down a balancer too. One of the SBC balancers works for the 250 but I don't know which. I'll need an SFI balancer and flexplate.

I just got a set of forged pistons, some rebuilt rods with arp bolts, a high quality intake/exhaust gasket, a beat distributor I can cut up for an oil pump drive (like Gary Hart's), a cam housing with a good used 1bbl cam and matching followers and lash adjusters And a pile of information. I'm pretty stoked!

I'm looking at a '69 Firebird on December 3rd. If I buy it (likely..) that will be it's home.
