That's not the picture I wanted. Some fishing vessels.

This was the area that was hit by the tsunami in the early 2000's

This is the Indian Ocean. It supposedly looked this way for about a 20 minute helicopter ride.

Covered the windows in the loft tonight with insulation. The only one left to do is the 15" x 66" window over the couch. I should check to see if the CB works. That should have been priority one!

Are you going to put a skirt around the bottom of the RV to keep the wind out?

No, I have to keep fairly mobile. Maybe some big "Keep on Truckin" mud flaps would help.

Synthetics would be my recomendation - at extreme temps - synthetics are worth the price. sure looks cozy!

Just the basics. Change all the fluids so they are clean. If I am going anywhere I'll let it warm up in neutral to protect the transmission. I have to check and make sure it has a block heater. I'm obviously not going to use the holding tanks in the winter but I will throw in a couple jugs of windshield washer fluid in case of emergency.

When I drive a company truck up north I just let it run when it gets below 25C ish. Unfortunately I will have to pay for my own gas this year and I'm not driving a diesel so that is not an option this year.

x2 - especially in the rear diff where it can't get warmed up with the engine.

It'll be synthetic all the way. I should be able to run the same oils as I do in the car.

Tonight I finished insulating the windows. Its officially a creeper van now.

I also wrapped the toolbox up so I can ship it tomorrow.

This was my shared room when I worked in Mexico.

                            I like the van more!

This is the rig I was on in Mexico. Its the same concept as the one that was in India but more refined. We were the all-stars of the fleet we made major hole compared to the other rigs.
