Got the body panels covered, along with some other stuff. '87 Fury sits next to the 'Hammer in the storage yard. ;D

OK...bringing this back to life. I've moved and since then have done a lot of work to the car. This is a video update that I'm doing for Farley's (Diplomat site) so I thought I'd put it here too. I'm not sure how well this works...

I wouldn't have started the Camaro...it's akin to hearing a fart during porn.

Nice video update. That Chevelle certainly sounds healthy.
              Escaped on a technicality.

And exactly WHAT is wrong with a six cylinder Camaro? If I didn't already have one, I'd be interested - looks pretty solid. Nice fleet.

Re: Warhammer (will be updated as I can)

For me, it's a '79 rubber nose Camaro, with bondo falling out of the pass. rear 1/4, rust hole in pass. front fender, ratchet shifter, etc, etc. Personally, out of my fleet, it's definetly the first one to go. Nothing wrong with a six, esp. the 250-ci, and this one is strong. Shame the trans isn't up to it, it's slipping first bad, second mildly.

Nice video this one too.Its nice hearing you tell about the cars, and hear the sound from them.

And i agree with silverbuick. The chevelle sounds healthy.

I have the same feeling for 80ies monte carlos, that you have for the Camaro..Nice cars, but i dont like them.

Its too bad i have a friend that have scrapped two Diplomat stationwagons this summer. He have a complete front and doors and stuff....but the parts are here in Norway of course.

Wow, it's crazy what names will pop up here. I, too, remember Thunderstruck from the MML. I had a '63 Chrysler 2dr hardtop a while back, and I seem to remember him saying that he had a '64 300 413 4spd car back when he was serving the country.

I also remember following his progress on the Diplomat! It used to be primer gray with cop car rims at one point, didn't it? Cool thread, this is!!

Actually wasn't grey at all...it was the light blue patrol color, but it was so damn faded it looked grey. I've got a pic with the cop rims on it, I got it with basic steelies on it in '05, that's when it was shot dark blue and got the shotgun rims/BFGs. I drove the hell out of it that year, since then it's been one thing or another, but somehow has managed to not get stripped/sold/burnt down out of rage, LOL. It's a fun car, and no matter how much hell I catch...

T-struck misses the car, when I got it he was prepping a Cuda project of some kind, IIRC an A-body.

Re: Warhammer (will be updated as I can)

I did a video tonight, but Photobucket had other plans for it, and frankly, I'm too tired to play anymore...

Fired her up today, to bring out for some exercise. Started easily enough, then, when I popped the throttle to let the choke out, it popped out a freeze plug at appx. 2200RPM. Pissed, I resorted to washing the SS and the new addition, a Saturn coupe my roommate bought at an auction.

I'm wondering...how often can backpressure do that? I believe it's because the cats are so choked up that the exhaust gases have absolutely nowhere to go.

So, for now, I'm done until I'm ready to move it and the Fury to the new staging area, in Yelm, at a rather...um..interesting individual's place. Several Corvairs, a '32 frame and body, and a K5 Blazer that has the hoodline at my forehead...he's also slightly off in the head. I'll get pics.

If it was a blue LaSabre, that same old witch hit me on my bike (and never stopped). Kudos on the non-standard ride.

                              Finally, some more news!

For those who frequent Moparts, amxautox (Tom) is letting me use his shop, and I'm seconds away from heading north and getting to work on serious stuff. Engine will be pulled this weekend, the Fury is sitting under a tree nearby ready to start the donation process, and I'm wired out of my head (without caffiene!)

I'm also bringing Miss Remy. If nothing else, she's gonna take pictures of this happening.

Damn, I'm psyched! Ok, leaving, gotta shove the new headers in the car and get going! I'll post up some progress pics when I decide I've had enough for now...
