I'd be very careful with chiropractors, PT is strength, Chiro is moving stuff that may or may not need to move in the direction they're moving it. In short, it could be aggravating your arthritis.

heck, if there were enough trees; I bet the guy I know would head out.... it's kind of slow time here.

I've done the Chiro thing for 6 months, changed primary medical doctor end of 2011. New guy took X-rays today, I'll find out the results next week, and start PT in the next week. I'll see how that does.

Hang in there. We'll start the busted backs club.

Rebel wire kit arrived - looks pretty good.

Heard a hissing noise on the big air compressor - looks like the check valve has failed, hopefully Grainger will have one in stock I can pick up on the way home, no compressed air = no heat, the waste oil furnace requires about 10psi to help atomize the oil for ignition.

We have Monday off - I hope to use that day to make some progress on the falcon.

          sweetness

you reminded me that I need to get my waste oil system back in operation (plugged line)... I'm about out of firewood and it looks like it's going to be cold for a bit.

I just got a call from another friend who owns a small shop - he's got another full drum for me.

I'm glad I took the time to "rebuild" the burner on my cleanburn this fall - it's running better than it ever has, I've got lots of oil to burn through, no reason to work in the cold!

I hope the compressor check valve fixes the issue with the air leak.... another thing on my long list is revising the auto drain set up to drain both tanks at the same time, (I have an auto drain on the compressor tank, but a manual on the second tank) that should keep more water out of the lines.

Looks like if you can get everything working, warm, and well you have plenty to do. Nice wiring setup.

Compressor "expert" gave me some bad advice - I have a new pressure switch that is doing the same thing as the old one.
They've agreed to take it back and give me a refund - the problem at this point is finding a direct replacement check valve - we may have to do some "parts bin engineering" to make a more commonly available check valve work.

Did some more organizing, picked up some more waste oil, picked up the '54 over the weekend, didn't get a chance to touch the Falcon.

Last time my pressure switch gave up the ghost I used one for a water well. It was cheaper and easily available.

My big compressor had a well switch as original equipment. Simple trip to the hardware store and $15 later I was back in business.

Later the check valve was a little trickier, that involved Grainger iirc....

Grainger didn't have the check valve that would match my compressor - I will be returning the pressure switch this week - I swapped it out last night.

Made a bit of progress on the falcon - the wiring is removed from the engine compartment, the bumper, grille, headlights, and battery tray are out. The bumper bolts to the frame all came out by hand, the factory "tie down loops" will be reused - way convenient for tying down on the trailer.

Other recent developments include putting this new tarp on the "tent garage" moving the stuff that was in there out, and putting the ski boat in there, a heavy snow will be rough on the tarp - it's currently held on with black zip ties until I come up with something better.

Correct you are Matt - that grille and front bumper were just horrible, I'll save the bumper brackets - everything else goes in the scrap pile. Thankfully the headlight trim looks as if it should be re usable. One headlight ring is broken, amazingly both headlights still work!

The compressor guy lived up to his word and gave me a full refund on the pressure switch - I put my old one back on, and will install the IR check valve when it arrives - next week some time.

We are headed to Granbury TX for a long weekend with family we rarely get a chance to see, it's my great uncles 90th Birthday - he and his family are the only family I have that are into cars, so we have a great time any time we get togehter - which hasn't been often enough over the years. He's got 2 model A's, a 65 mustang fastback, a 40 cadillac sedan, his son in law is on his second pantera and his daughter has had some amazing late 30's fords over the years - I think she has a 50 Buick now. Should be some great photo ops with Lee and his extended family and thier Texas rides.

We used to go through Granbury all the time on our way from Stephenville to Ft. Worth. Had some college buddies that were from there too.
