Wait! You got smoke on your burnout . . . you didn't screw up staging . . . you didn't stall it at the line and get a happy consultation with the starter . . . you didn't red light . . . you didn't miss a "granny" shift . . . Where's the drama in that?Originally posted by BBR View Posthttp://youtu.be/b8Y8W5V441g?t=1h25m39s

That was on the MT drag radials because one of my slicks had a hole in it. I made a pass, then left to get it fixed. Should have come back for another pass afterwards but didn't. Oh well.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Three words I wish I'd never heard. Now I've got to explain to Mrs. Outsider why I need to spend $$$ on more wheels and some real drag slicks for my "Bart Simpson-mobile."Originally posted by BBR View PostMT drag radials

(I suspect that if she ever saw that embarrassing last video clip from the Motorplex (or the brilliant 17-second traction-controlled opener @ Tulsa ), she'd be arguing for a Frank Hawley remedial course instead . . . .)Comment

Seriously, Dude, do you think somebody that could put on a pathetic driving display like that one ought to be loosed on the streets with a still-nearly-full tank of dinitrogen monoxide . . . .Originally posted by CDMBill View PostYou clearly have too much time on your hands. EXCLUSIVE -- NEW ZEX AD FOR "THE POWERBLOCK"
ANNOUNCER: Nitrous oxide is a terrible thing to waste. That's why in select Zex "Blackout" nitrous kits for Drive-by-Wire Mustangs, we leave out the necessary step of the instructions to the kits to work!
FEMALE ANNOUNCER: And we tell 'em to do something that will NEVER WORK!
ANNOUNCER: Then we keep those hapless 'Stangbangers on-hold while we secretly laugh at their patheticness!
FEMALE ANNOUNCER: Our techs are specially trained to give worthless non-answers and no hand-on assistance, should they encounter on of those talentless idiots with too many credit cards who blew hundreds on a Zex "Blackout" nitrous kit!
TALKING PIG: Then we make sure that if the "juice" does start flowing, it safely leaks out of the "Nitrous Management Unit" instead of boosting the car past the obviously deficient skills of the Nut behind the wheel.
ANNOUNCER: Zex -- Keeping America safe from yabbos in Coyote Mustangs . . . .Last edited by 38P; March 6, 2013, 11:05 AM.Comment

No. I've not disconnected the too-short fuel line, packed it up and sent it back yet. But then . . .Originally posted by CDMBill View PostSo is it working yet? Mine is.
But never fear, in the grandest of FoMoCo's storied tradition of blowing leads and keeping everyone else in the game, I'll figure out some way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory at the eleventh hour!Originally posted by STINEY View PostIts [sic] apparent that you [the Outsider] have no real ability to take on a project of your own . . . .
