Yes we are, and we made one converter change, but it's still not right, I'm gonna wait till I have the data logger in it so we can see exactly where we are..

To give you some numbers to chew on, honest truth, we are picking up almost 30mph right now on the back end, give or take a few tenths, but that's all I'll say..

I LOVE that shot of the dyno numbers, I laugh every time I see it! I made one run on that dyno, and would not make another without an afm cause I felt we had something going on, cause the car had a real struggle getting to RPM, turned out we had one completely burned up 30 yr old Holley Blue pump, and the other not far behind, so it was trying to turn the pistons into fuel on that run! Lucky I decided that was it.

Here's one of the pumps that came out..

Good catch Eddie, sounds like you are getting a lot of regular driving out of that car......not. The whole inside of that pump is rusted up. Maybe you should drive it around more often than your teaser videos on facebook!

I rolled onto the offcially NHRA certified scale at Pomona Saturday after a time run at the NMCA event. With me sitting in it and a full tank of gas and the big brakes back on the front (14' rotor/6 piston) it showed 4170#. How much will aluminum log nuts help?

Last time I hauled off junk metal, their scale showed 4320# (after I unloaded the junk) , so I might have to go with plastic, along with some new aluminum axles and studs.

I'm running aluminum lugs. But only because they are sexy! Im not hacking my car up to save weight. And the scale proves it.
