I doubt you will show up this year either. A localized tsunami or something will have caused a power outage that caused your alarm clock to fail which prevented you from making the tech inspection which prevented you from showing up because we all know a N/A motor should run just as quick as a nitrous injected motor, since you state 8.50s is what you will run when you have barely eclipsed that with the baby bottle. Beat up, LMAO I would hope your RACE CAR can out run a 25 year Old Pro Street car. The only person you will impress is yourself,, as usual. With a Car that does not follow the rules of the class and has to get "Special Wavers" to run in it. **** Special ED **** it fits wear it with Pride.
Hey Eddie, post the video of it blowing the hood off for us again, its been a while but I know you still have it.Last edited by JeffMcKC; May 13, 2013, 11:08 AM.2007 SBN/A Drag Week Winner & First only SBN/A Car in the 9's Till 2012

Hey, it could happen, never know.. I WILL fit in the PS class with my Members Only jacket, though, thanks!
I did NOT state that I will run 8.50's, I did say that "it's the mid 8's that'll be work", how you got that I said I will run mid 8's from that, I'm not sure..
Haters been putting words in my mouth for years, I'm used to it, so have at it.
You clearly better go back for some more internal combustion engine class certificates to hang on your wall, cause you obviously don't understand that a dedicated nitrous engine is a good bit different than a full on N/A build. I would say right now we are giving up at least a 150HP at the crank with our current combo, over a full assault N/A build, and probably more with a lightweight, profiled crankshaft. The crank in the engine now weighs about 90+ pounds with full counterweights!

Hmmm, lets see, I have gone 8.92, Curt has gone 8.85, the class is soft and you are going to bust up the record so if that doesnt mean you are going to run 8.70 or 8.60 I guess I dont understand what beat up the record means. Just winning in my iron block letter of the law legal Pro Street 1980s car that actually Eddie was painted in 1986. Nope! It's a big inch Mopar, "skirted" block, with a wet sump and crappy stamped steel pan, it has TONS of windage, so it is what it is.. The car never kills plugs, and does not smoke on the street. Until I spend real money on a good pan, it's gonna get some oil in the cylinders.. Now it has way more windage with the oil fed lifter bores.Originally posted by JeffMcKC View PostComment

One of the few things about drag week that I dont like is the continuing one-off building of custom "street cars" to come and compete when I thought it was supposed to be about your good ol' car you have had for your car hobby enjoyment that you brought and hope you brought enough.HOTROD Dragweek Pro Street N/A winner 2007,2011, 2012/ 2nd, 2009

This "race car" probably has more street miles on it then your pro street car in the last number of years. I drive it all over the place, all the time, sometimes a 150 miles just going to the track and back two times a week.
My car has about 500 pounds on a nice Mustang coupe with full interior.. I don't think you'd want to even know what my engine in N/A trim would run in a coupe, believe me, I've been so tempted, but that would put me in a different class, and I want to beat you up before I leave the 80's PS class..
