How about home porting some heads. How is it different than gasket matching, common pitfalls, and how to avoid screwing up your valve seats.
What tech stories do you want to see from us in 2012?

Turbo story would be cool. Do it on a regular car though, say a 80's Chevy Caprice or Monte Carlo.Add a turbo to the 305 and see what happens. Some paint and body would be cool too say do a 1/4 replacement. Another would be some basic wiring do's and do not do's.Comment

It seems their is still a lot of voodoo floating around on how to do it.......Also make sure to include what to do if the drive line is running "down hill" to the transmission, as what I had to deal with on my lowered '99 Z28........Comment

How about some Dyno vs Track tuning??....... You can take a car to the track dial it in the old fashion way and get it to run the best time it can, then take the car and have it tuned on a chassis dyno, then take it back to the track and see if the car picks up or slows down..........Comment

Hi,
I think I would like to see some tuning articles, slap your basic bolt ons to an engine and show how to maximize the tune. Tuning is a lost art. Comparisons are great. The RPM vs Airgap type thing was classic. Some of the basic things like, do angle plug heads make any more power than straight plug heads? There are a lot of cheap Ebay heads and intakes out there, are they really worth the money? Junkyard power is always good.
