1500 bucks. 1500... leaving 3500.00 for a barn storm. These trucks weigh less than a new Mustang or Challenger and not much more than a Camaro. Bed booboo on passenger side, nothing I wouldn't drive after shoving a baseball bat up there a few times to try and push the dent out.

How hard is it to make the twin I-beam go away? Loved my F150 but the front end, though sturdy, wasn't my favorite.

My favorite FBM game is go to Vehicles then filter results by price $100-$2000 and just see what sort of goodies turn up.

Be watching a show on YouTube where they had a 70ish international and put 5th gen vette suspension under the front with the LS motor . So I would say 500ish . Probably the same for mustang 2 parts . Like that body style of ford .bI really like the 3/4 4x4 4dr .

I recommend a Hop Ball for a first try at a big dent like that. More surface area.

Stiney - jeez.... coffee out the nose. LMAO. Yeah, that's a great idea! (minus Uncle Steve)

Dan - I think I want to do the Crown Vic swap on mine. I've driven one I-beam F series that didn't have a worn out front end - it was better than any of mine even after rebuilding and the "redhead" whatever steering box. I think they invented "herding cats" to describe twin i-beam road feel.

I haven't had to filter my results too much, those guys throw stuff on the start page that tempt me so much I have to close it. lol. Maybe if I could learn how this "sell" thing works.

I had a co-worker once with that exact same truck. He was the guy I always figured to be most likely to snap and come shoot up the office. Luckily he moved to Dallas.

The current object of my desire is an ice blue 1990 Mark VII. It would be a total win-win. I would get a spare HO 302 and AOD for the 83GT and I have all the parts to plop a BBF/C6/E4OD in it. Tempting.....

I see it has the air bag theft deterrent.. Bring longer ramps for the trailer if they don't hold air.

                        Permanently fixable. There are kits.

I did a kit, but we're talking about the guy who thinks a football is an airbag! (think I remember that right).

That's nice, sometimes I think I should sell the mustang and build the 85 tbird in the barn it's go so much more room in the trunk. cut down on stuff an I think I could do Dragweek with out a trailer.

Then there's the "you're not getting any younger" and the T-bird rides a lot better than a Mustang.
