My first car was a four door. Get the stance right and most people will look past the extra pair of doors.

Heck yea I'd build a more door .... even a wagon! Maybe not as a street/strip terror but more in the spirit of a useful DD and family cruiser.

No. The engine in this car made it into the Bonneville racer. I just had to have a two door car, so I bought this one for $50. I got ripped off.

heh, doesn't bother me how much of a pain it is for guys to get into the back seat of my 55 2 door, I guess the roll bar doesn't help

I would so build a 4 door. Crown Vic, Marauder, mid 60s Mopar, Etc. My wifes lincoln town car is more door, and there is my 4 door Sportwagon.

Here is my more door, it's not a DD but can easily do the task if required, it has taken the family away on holidays, it can tow a trailer and it's always ready to go at the turn of a key.

It's still 327 has a TH400 and a posi. The 327 is good on the fuel and has as best of 14.3 in the 1/4.
I've added disk brakes from a VT Commodore (2004 GTO) for stopping duties.
Single 3" system with a Flowmaster.

The four doors were the only ones sold in Aus, all the two doors here are imported so they cost a lot more.
I like the roof line of the hardtop compared to the coupe, to me it matches the lines of the rest of the car better, I like the roofline of the 2 door post for the same reason.

Same here, with the exception of wagons (and only some of them), I'm not into the four-door scene. More power to those who are, though.

Yes I would, there were some cool 4 doors. Either a White Lightning Galaxie or one of these.

Up here in the Northeast, anything that is complete and not a rusty pile grabs your attention. Especially when you see it in a salvage yard. I give it about another week before they run into the Chevelle with a loader and make it useless. Then the price always goes up for some reason.
