By the time those derilicts could possibly get out of that flattened ride... some badass from the outside would have his boot already through the window kissing their mugs.
        Nitrous, baby!!...

I met Bo Hopkins (Joe the Pharoe) and I have his autograph on a photo of the Merc. Best part with those guys is-You know Gil Gonzales? reply-Yeah we know him,we killed em last night, tied em to the car and dragged him. When I met Bo I asked him if he knew Gil Gonzales.

When the AG movie was very first released here in the Twin Cities (Mpls/St Paul, MN) I'm not sure which theatre it was, but one of them contacted local car clubs, and asked everyone to drive there 30's-40's-50's cars up & down past the theatre exactly as the very first nights show "let out". Cars were coming from all directions, so those that just attended the movie, thought they were still in movie - or at least still in that time period. Great idea by that manager or what?

One of my high school buddies was so affected by that film that he went out and purchased a leather jacket and a yellow '30 Ford coupe.

Interesting. Last night I was trying to describe my youth to our massage lady (she's 23). Finally I asked if she had seen American Graffiti. She said yes. I said "You got it". Cool thing is that from then on we understood each other better. Truly, I was there but in the SE Michigan area.
