You said the magic words friend - - low buck. The size of my grins are directly proportional to the fun-factor, divided by the sum total of the project costs. ;D
The Malibu is just right; this is the amount of torque that GM should have delivered them with, in my opinion.
Pulls effortlessly with little throttle, cruises easy also with little throttle, and plenty on tap for special occasions. Stone stock with a Holley. No wheel hop either, it seems to power right through any wheel hop issues. Stone stock rear suspension too, old bushings & all.
