I like that. I may need to get a T shirt made with that on it while I own the car.

Had two running around Iowa City and Cedar Rapids back in the day... Both were big FE motors with dual quads, one was black with a 4 speed and the other was white with a C6 I believe... both ran thunderbolt style hoods and ram air systems...

I LOVE the Thunderbolt-style hood scoop on those. I remember those at Detroit Dragway back in my youth (I DID have one, a long time ago.....) and I just thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. At first they went over 406s then later 427s.

Not sure that's the way Scott was planning this build but it wouldn't be a bad way to go!

I saw both Fairlanes and Galaxies at Detroit Dragway with those lumps. It works on either body style.

Funny you should mention that. On the VMF someone posted a picture of a funny looking lower control arm. It was sort of S shaped. Turns out if fits Fairlanes up to 65 and are uber rare and expensive. Like well over $400 each!

I think he means Fairlanes are about 600 lbs lighter.

And about half as wide. But the big cars are cool, too! I loves 'em both.

What would Barney Fife think of this in Mayberry?

I would love to put a teardrop hood on the car, but that would completely blow my budget.
