But the "LOL" smiling Buick is still waiting on paint :*( Fired it up today though, and boy does it start nice and sound nice
With all the stuff of the fornt end it looks kinda like some of those new Hundai's and other crap with giant black holes for fornt ends. Nice looking chromy stuff. How heavy are those bumpers?

The chrome part isn't that heavy, but there are backing pieces and stuff that weighs a bit more.

      • Beagle, I hope you are more on-task than you seem because reading your posts, I feel like you are not a Beagle, but a Black Lab at a tennis ball plant explosion.

              • lab at a tennis ball factory explosion... lmfao. Thanks for the motivational (directional?) speech BBR! Probably the shortest and most accurate summary I've seen.

I thought really hard about this yesterday and fought the urge to go pick up the Granada. It would have been a beautiful 5k challenge entry, and pretty easy to do with it's antique status. Ultimately, I'd like whatever gets finished to become a driver, and there is another car in the yard that makes more sense to finish. I know more about it, and the cost to finish it will be a set of tires. I have all the junk for it already. Rather than jinx that one too, I'll wait until it's running before saying which one it is.

                  • I wonder if I can get this operational and installed before drag week? I need a car computer or a modified netbook.
