aluminum - yes, but stainless is tougher

Aaron, this is the GM11 Basecoat/clearcoat. Just think, it will match your gas tank too.

I like the color, but I think that'd be too much grey for my car - the sidepipes are grey, wheels are grey, calipers are grey..... still, maybe we can talk about spraying rescue rig black? I even have the paint

We could talk about that for sure. I looked at rims and tires. They are stock 5 lug 1991 Silverado's 4x4. Took me a couple minutes to remember I traded the 8 lugs to a tow truck owner awhile back to move a vehicle for me. It was a complicated tow and I loved the deal.

I had a set of those on my truck, when I swapped to 3/4 ton running gear I sold them on CL in about 10 minutes....

lol.... I'm not an engineer because I'm bad at math, I'm not a doctor because I failed A & P, thus I'm doing what I do because it's the only degree that doesn't require any actual skills

Up close and personal,, I was pretty good at what I did before I retired. Its adjusting to the new way of selling things over the net that gets me behind the Bell curve.

So, I got the board to fix the tachometer - so here's a step by step installation instructions
1) Remove center console

2) Remove transmission

3) say "ah ha" as to why the starter was having trouble engaging


(note how there's paint on the tops of the teeth on one side, and there's no paint on the other side? stupid thing was out of round

4) adjust linkage for transmission


that's it for tonight

Tomorrow I'll put the transmission in, then pull the dash apart.

That aside, great way to cure an out of round flex plate!

I still have to drop the tank to complete this tach board install .... and summit needs to get me the FAST EFI
