I have no idea what that is - but it sounds nasty.

                • Car is looking good Thom. I drove my 55 around today in the heat, it's in the 80s this week. Dang winter gas has trouble, likes to percolate after a hot soak....typical spring problem.

Thanks Jim......we're starting on the bucket seat tracks this weekend.
Looking forward to getting 'em installed.

                      • I was thinking today that I need to take my driver seat out and take it apart...I think a spring or two broke, and the foam is getting thin after 15 years. Make sure to check the springs before you install the seats! easier to fix it now

                            • Fix a steering issue today.
Don't know when it started but at high speeds it seemed like I was
                              driving on ice.
Didn't have a good feel for the road.

Did some research and came up with this flow reducer for the p/s pump.
It takes it from 3 gal a min to 2 gal.

Man what a difference, just got back from test spin and much much better.

                              • Cool deal! I solved that on the ol' Buzz Bomb by routing the pressure hose on the steering box to the inlet hose on the steering box, then removed the pump and brackets. Worked great but there is a slight increase in steering effort. The S-10 has the same system.

Yours is probably easier to park, though. Glad that worked for you.
