You know, I was just looking at pictures of my FOX underbody to figure out what the heck was going on there. So now that you brought it up, what gives, eh?

The mufflers I had were offset inlet, centered outlet and needed to be centered inlet, offset outlet. If I tried to lay them flat, it would have needed some strange bends and would have made it a pain to get the driveshaft out. This way i can get to the driveshaft flange bolts easy.Life is short. Hooker MaxFlows are not a chambered muffler, so that would not be worth the effort.
This way works pretty well. I hate the 3 bolt flanges though.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Well, I might just have to do some reconfiguration now. I'd love to add some cut outs in there somewhere.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

I would run it with the open headers, or put short extension on it "They" clame on the internet that a short pipe is good. How much faster would it have to go to make adding cut outs worth it? If it picks up a tenth would it be worth it? I put a cut out on the mark 8 it picked up about 2 mph in the mile iirc, to me its was a good value. Your exhaust looks pretty good, will be nice to have track numbers to see if they are holding you back.Comment

If it picks up a couple of tenths and a couple of mph, I would be happy. With the muffs on, I was expecting it to run 10.70's in Noble (much better air than Amarillo) at 126-127 this weekend. If it goes 10.50's at 128-129, I will be doing back flips.Originally posted by Russell View PostI would run it with the open headers, or put short extension on it "They" clame on the internet that a short pipe is good. The car ran it's best in Louisiana in really really really good air. Don't think it will be that good this weekend, but much much better than what I normally run in.Last edited by BBR; October 10, 2013, 02:21 PM.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.
