When I figure out how to get that %$##**(&@#()*#%*(#%&@ brake pedal out of the car. I literally had sweat dripping off my eyelashes yesterday while messing with it. I conceded the round to back up and regroup.

Its actually very easy if you know the trick.

Simply disassemble the entire car, removing the pedal last. Reassembly is the reverse.

I hear you. I think you drop / remove the steering column to do it? I haven't looked in a long time. The S10 clutch pedal in the second gen is every bit as bad. I think they put it in as step one, then build the rest of the car around it, like Stiney said.

I *think* I can get it out if I get the freakin' clutch quadrant out of the way. The brake pedal pivot bolt is hiding behind it.

I swapped the clutch quadrant in my '90 - I don't recall it being nightmarish.

Surely with the vast amount of information on the webs in regard to fox bodies - somebody has posted something helpful on the subject?

What push rod is that? I'm using the Late Model Restoration adjustable Fox push rod (as soon as my PayPal fiasco gets worked out)

It's the one that came with in the Ranger m/c. It is likely too long, but that's no big deal. I have tools, I can feeex.

I poked the m/c in for a quick test fit and it fits perfect. The pushrod slipped on perfectly as well, so I will not need to change it's length at all.

Since it fits, I think I am going to see how it works without moving the pedal and pin first. Then if it is not acceptable, I will jump through those hoops. That way I will answer both questions I have in my mind.
