Hot Rod Magazine’s Drag Week is on for 2023 and it is going to be one hell of a show! For the first time in 18 years, Drag Week’s Sunday Tech and Test Session were rained out. Most of tech got done still, but testing didn’t happen and that means there are a ton of racers who didn’t get to make any test hits on new combos that they literally just put into cars this past week. With insane car count and the often limited number of runs, it could come back to bite some of them who needed testing to figure out where they were. We’re excited to see who jumps out to the early lead because if you don’t stay within striking distance on days one and two, the week will quickly get away from you.
