Tommy Lee Byrd, The Hot Rod Hoarder, was back at it for the recent Corvettes at Carlisle event and we love him for it! Why do we love him for going to a car show? Two reasons. First, because he makes awesome videos to share his favorites, and second because he’s got a classic Corvette of his own that has an epic nostalgic drag race feel. This is one of the reasons why Tommy always finds the coolest stuff to check out. His eye is second to none and he’s going to share some cars that might get overlooked by a lot of folks that aren’t paying attention.

I was SHOCKED at how many killer old school hot rods and customized Corvettes were on hand at the 2024 Corvettes at Carlisle event. So many fender flares, so many side pipes and so many cars with history. I enjoyed walking through the swap meet to see old school treasure such as Corvette fuel injection units, 2-4 intake manifolds, and a bunch of great vintage speed parts. The cars for sale in the car corral were outstanding and included several flared C3 Corvettes with Motion Performance body panels. Getting to see Rod Saboury’s Corvettes was an extra special treat, as was the Ronzello Racing ’69 Corvette Super Stocker. Lots of great cars, and lots of great parts to talk about, so enjoy my weekend adventure at Corvettes at Carlisle.
