Ryan Wing and I have been talking about putting on a race for a couple of years now, and then he had an idea on an all truck private shootout, and then a bunch of people said they wanted to come and be a part of it, and then an event was born. And he killed it, along with help from Chad Squarebody Stuff, and their wives of course. The Tailgate Throwdown may have started out with two buddies talking smack and deciding they wanted to race each other head to head for bragging rights, but it ended up with some big checks and lots of smiles and tons of fun for everyone involved. It turned into a bad ass drag race!
The first one is done, there is already talk of the second AND third events, so stay tuned for more on that as we hear. But until then, check out all the fun and excitement that was going on Friday night for test and tune, grudge, and some other shenanigans.
