SEMA Project Debut: The Willomet Motor And Fab “Back to 1985” Off-Road Suburban Gets A Serious Facelift!

We’ve featured the Willmet Motor and Fab channel here on BANGshift.com several times over the past couple of years and can tell you that David is awesome and so is his insane 1985 Suburban. This thing has had ever bit of the chassis touched, replaced, or clipped, the 6.2L Diesel is now a beast, every bit of the drivetrain and suspension is built to last under the worst abuse, and it just has the right look and stance to go with all that capability. But one word you wouldn’t have used to describe it before is “pretty”.

Well, you can use that work now as everything on this truck has been newly painted, coated, and otherwise touched to get it to it’s prettiest level yet and we love it. David was on hand at the Seymour Paints booth to show it off and there was a steady stream of folks coming to check it out and ask questions. With literally everything on this truck customized, massaged, or replaced, there is a lot to talk about for sure.
