This video comes to us from the August 2, 2014 tractor pull in Lochem, The Netherlands. This Super Stock Ford, “Iessel Diesel”, starts off strong but right from the start you can see that the right-side rear wheel isn’t liking anything about the current situation at all. What initially looks like tire bounce quickly switches to a death wobble, until the inevitable occurs and the wheel parts ways from the hub and goes straight over to the camera guy for a quick word. The driver just sits there, watching it roll away. While you cannot see his face, we have no doubt the expression is a perfect, “WTF…” Torque is a wonderful thing, except when it goes absolutely wrong. The only person I don’t want to be more than the driver? The camera guy. Nothing will get you to relocate your gear faster than a several-hundred pound wheel/tire assembly headed in your direction.
