This green 1950 Buick Super Sedanette would be cool if it was left perfectly alone. The green and chrome coupe has gorgeous lines, a body that looks perfectly restored, and California black plates. But owner 1950_Buick put it best: “Love the look of the 50 Buick, but not the performance.”
The stock running gear and suspension was removed, and was sent on to some people restoring another Buick. In it’s place is an GM LQ-series motor that has been punched up to displace 383ci. But that’s not all, as plans include twin Garrett turbochargers with the boost cranked to make this Buick move.
The project kicked off at the beginning of the year, so take a look and be sure to check up on the progress!
Kermit said it best, “It ain’t easy being green…..”.
another DUH….. “I don’t know how to build a buick engine. I guess I will go to my local 7-11 and get a chevy for it.”
don’t hate, appreciate!
by the looks of the pics and the engine he’s building, i’m sure this dude isn’t shopping at “7-11”
to the guy building this – awesome – i’ll be watching this one, just ignore the guys that have nothing positive to contribute except their own crankiness – probably never did a build in their life!
