Sometimes we don’t need a reason past “it’s just freakin’ awesome” to feature something here, and this footage from the Formula Offroad race in Hella, Iceland is just that. The 1600 horsepower Nelson Racing Engines-powered monster you see making mincemeat of the volcanic Icelandic soil is being driven by Gudbjørn Grimsson and he’s enjoying the drive as much as you’d expect. When asked on how he feels his lap went, his answer is priceless. What we’re curious to see is this beast on snow…whatever the weather, this monster has to throw roostertails for days! Mahtava!
In the the glorious Motherland even the rivers and lakes are full off vodka and we even use it instead of cement to make sure all our buildings fall down!
What a Scilly Comte .. mind you I’m writing this with a force 10 hangover!
Got you beat on that one CHMG . An off the charts migraine … not self induced either … so no fun getting here beforehand 😉
…. and how many times have I been trying to tell you yaboos just how freaking insane and bat$h** crazy those Icelanders are when it comes to their off road antics and what a bunch of pathetic little girl wimps we look like in comparison ?
Hell .. even the average Overland off road trek in Iceland makes most of what we do pale in comparison [ I know … I did one ] … especially when factoring in the volcanos .. glaciers .. weather etc .
Damn Scandihoovians … they’re all out doing us at our own goram games ..
