The Ford Escort RS Cosworth is a hyperactive little beast of a car that carried on the torch of Ford’s rally efforts after the RS200, a Group B one-off, and the Sierra Cosworth, Ford’s touring car special. It was a fast little bastard before tuners figured out how to wick up the engines into near four-digit power territory and could hook and hang onto the road with it’s four-wheel-drive system. It also is a rev-happy little beast that eats copious amounts of boost from the turbocharger, so in many ways it’s Ford’s early rally rocket entry. YouTuber “19Bozzy92” compiled footage of Andreas Gabat’s Escort RS Cosworth at two events, the 2014 Alpe del Nevegal and the 2015 Verzegnis – Sella Chianzutan hillclimbs. As usual, Bozzy’s sound quality is second to none, so crank up the speakers and enjoy the boost!
Jeeze ! I know the Escort RS well … and either this aint one of them or its a seriously [ and badly done ] over modified one . This thing looking like the illegitimate bastard child of an Audi Quattro S1 and a Cosworth Escort RS conceived behind the counter of the local Pep Boys
